Best Frontmen?

Phil Lynnott, Rory Gallagher, Lemmy, Huey Morgan [from FLC] and Ted Nugent could also be mentioned. The best bands had a gobby one at the front, and geniuses at the back/sides

Im just discovering Kraftwerk Joel.

Its amazing how many undiscovered nuggets of brilliant music there are out there for us all. :)

I understand they split up a long time ago so seeing them live isnt on the cards anymore?

They don't play very often, but they are still going. About one album every fifteen years and one tour every ten. :) I saw them earlier in the year. They were, in short, fantastic.

Brandon Boyd has great stage presence.

Maynard James Keenan just for being the wierdest I know of and still having a unique and fantastic voice.

Can't get much better than James Brown... Or George Clinton...
Or Lux Interior.
And got to agree on John Lydon - crazed enough, methinks..

can't say I had much time for the Plasmodics or whatever they were called, and she couldn't sing a note, but you've gotta admit she had a unique kind of stage presence.

Saw the Plasmatics once..
Her routine with a sledgehammer handle was (erm) entertaining, and almost as filthy (and scary) as a Rockbitch show!

Bruce Dickinson, seen him with Maiden five times and he is simply superb.

Other than that it would probably have been Freddie Mercury (RIP) even though I was never a huge fan of Queen, he was fantastic to watch, just pulled you in. Before you knew it, you'd sat through the whole of live at Wembley.
