They don't play very often, but they are still going. About one album every fifteen years and one tour every ten. I saw them earlier in the year. They were, in short, fantastic.
Can't get much better than James Brown... Or George Clinton...

can't say I had much time for the Plasmodics or whatever they were called, and she couldn't sing a note, but you've gotta admit she had a unique kind of stage presence.
Bruce Dickinson, seen him with Maiden five times and he is simply superb.
Other than that it would probably have been Freddie Mercury (RIP) even though I was never a huge fan of Queen, he was fantastic to watch, just pulled you in. Before you knew it, you'd sat through the whole of live at Wembley.
