Bristol show - trade access

Hi Lamboy,

It's the Northern Sound & Vision 2004 at the Radisson SAS near Manchester airport. This was the show that used to run in October near the airport.

IIIIIII'll be there.....

Most likely Saturday I would have thought. But may take the Friday off work to go instead.

Gotta hook myself up with another run of speaker cable and some 3 in 1 snake oil.

Not been to one for a while so might drag MOself along. Not sure what day, we tend to go away around feb/march time for a week or two.

I was thinking to come there and meet as many people possible.
I just looked in the Swiss reservation system and I could get some cheap flights coming in London on the 20th evening and leaving on the 22nd (late afternoon).
It would be good to go to Bristol with somebody who is going anyway there.

Saturday would be the day I would visit the show.

Bristol is an interesting city with much history and many attractions in or near, if you decide to stay for longer.

Shame about the locals ;)

There's a good DnB scene if you fancy checking out a club while there Titian. Then perhaps a spot of trip hop to chill out with. :D

How rude

Titian, Bristol has its own airport. You may be able to get cheap flights to there and avoid the crush at Heathrow.

Are you into architecture? Bristol is a treasure trove. Bring your camera and explore!

There are lots of hotels in the city centre. If you want a cheap one (e.g. Travelodge) then it pays to book early. If you want something a bit more swish then the Marriott, Berkeley or Jurys would do fine, amongst others.

Thanks for your comments.
I'd better keep focus on the goals of the visit.

I just talked with Lee.
If my wife doesn't have anything against me going to England again alone (she wouldn't I bet) I will book the flights. I will stay at lee's wonderful place and go with him to Bristol on Saturday. For Sunday Lee will then try to organize something with the guys of this forum who live near him.

Hope everything will be ok.

Looking forward to see you all there.

The show's hosted in the Marriott isn't it? It'll certainly be convenient to stay there, but may be a little crowded and loud :D

From what I remember going there a few years back it's a PITA to get to. We could see it, but just couldn't actualy get to it. The one way system IIRC seemed to be steering us away at the last min!
