CD6000KI - anyone tried a power lead change?

    Okay, I've done it.

    I fitted the male IEC to the Marantz cable an inch or so out from the chassis.

    Inside the player is a small plastic connector which the power lead connects to so in the future if I need to revert back to the standard Marantz cable I can just re-connect the cable to this connector.

    I've not tested the Eupen back-to-back with the standard cable so I'm guessing really as to whether it made a significant difference. Frankly, it sounds good enough for me not to bother at the moment.

    A connector inside the player is a good idea but I only plan to add mine when I plan to sell the player as there is no need for one at this stage plus it also risks compromising the sound.
