you dont have to have a floor standing jobby as you can have big metal spikes underneath the platform. If you are intrested, PM me. He can make any platform in any size and turntable lids in 3mm or 5mm Acrylic.
    cheers.

What gets me about some of you guys is that you are quite prepared to spend thousands on the pretty gear, but can't afford, what? £600-ish for a phase two Mana support, which will blow your tiny minds away.

Sorry to say m8, but my tiny mind have tried all types of racks and supports including mana and found the mana sounded the worst in my circumstance. I have spent much more than £600 ish on my supports and isolation...... :D

thanks but pls keep your opion to yourself. You are not me and you have no idea what I like/ dislike. Even if I have funny looking boxes, its the sound we are after and not how it looks.

Mana is very tricky to set-up just right, you need a lot of time and patience. Most people rush it.

Your boxes are very pretty, I wasn't being sarcarrrstic.

No offence taken, I do understand Mana is hard to set up, but it just did'nt do it for me. My Sony SCD-1 stands on clearlight audio rcd cones then onto the acrylic platform then onto the wooden rack which is spiked to concret floor. This setup gives me the best sound I have experienced in regards to supports or stands.

Maybe you don't like the true sound of the pretty boxes. It can be a bit disconcerting at first.
