it's easy for me Andy, I'm a LOT bigger than both of them, needed 2 of them to lift my power amp which I manage fine on my own, prolly a lot different in person, although it is bad show.

It's mainly due to this that they will receive NO more plugs from me. Thanx for pointing it out.

Paul, not wanting to put a bad light on it, just think it is worth bearing in mind for mail order. I think there are shops that are worse.

Andy no problem from my end, I really have no connection with them, thanks for the warning, will still go there meself, as I like their kit, and they may be different if you can visit in person, if anyone does use them then try to deal with Dale, he's not as eccentric, and easier to deal with than Jack.

Yes, sniped in the dying seconds of the auction. That CD player was sitting on my rack, remote in hand and it was snatched from me.

That was the first auction I ever bid on so was a little disheartening to loose it like that. But I am more savvy now!

It might have been.... that's just a daft price! I'm sure you can find ex-dem ones at that price with a guarantee and original packaging.

    £1200 for a DAC64? That's a pretty good price - I doubt you'd get a boxed ex-dem one for anything close. £1400-1500 is the going rate for ex-dem models.

I was offered one ex-dem for £1300, could probably have got it for a little bit less but have cooled down on it for now, may return to it at a later date.
