    What network are you on?

I think you may find that your min's/texts could revert to half, or your line rental could double after the first 6 MOnths.... or possibly both!

Maybe, maybe not, but worth checking.

For what I was after, the 3 offer was the best with the 850i.

If you're happy to use a different phone, then o2 do a deal with the K800i which is online only, offering 750 min's and texts for £35.

That's a link to the price plan I'm on with 3.

The 850i wasn't listed with it when I first looked, but after calling them, they were happy to do it. Over the phone they also offered me £30 just for providing a friend or family members number who was also on 3. They also recieved £30 :)

I've checked all the small print and it seems the 1000 txts, 500 minutes thing lasts for the 18 months duration. That is what I have in writing.

I was very careful to insist that I didn't want any of them bogus offers.

What I am worried about at the moment is the cost GPRS at £2 a 1mb

That sounds more realistic. You'd earlier said 1000 min's and 500 texts.

Yeah I got mixed up :p: So far I have not been using more than 8 minutes a day on phone calls and I have about 15 (going off 500 mins) so I should be fine.
