I suspect Firefox 0.91 may represent the point I finally move away from IE. I've used Firefox since about 0.6, but there has always been something buggy or not quite right about it that has sent me back to IE. I've been using 0.91 for a few days now and have not had the itch to go back. I love the tab browsing, especially the way you can open a whole folder of bookmarks at one go ââ'¬â€œ I can load all the forums I visit in one go now which is well cool! The only thing I dislike about it is that the address bar still doesn't parse bookmarks the way IE does, so I've had to reorder the way I do things a bit ââ'¬â€œ I used to bring sites up by simply typing the first two letters of my bookmark into the address bar.
Anyway, Firefox is really starting to look like a mature product now. Many sites it used to screw up seem to function correctly etc. It will be very interesting to see how M$ respond to what is now definitely a credible challenge. Allegedly XP Service Pack 2 is scheduled for release at end of month (I'll believe it when I see it!) and will add additional security and pop-up blocking to IE, but still no tabbed browsing etc.
Tony.
