I thought McC's mistake boiled down letting a red car park in the back of it, probably taking a chuck of down force away, along with the chunk of carbon.

They lost it on the pit stop. If they had turned Button around more quickly, he would have won.

true, but why the delay? i saw no reason to burn tyres and engines so hard, no need to in that circuit, it is a tactical race course on bends,!!!!!!!!!

    Hi nando

I enjoyed the Italian GP although it would have been better to see Button ahead after the pit stops and then seeing alonso trying to pass him. :D

Anyway Singapore GP this weekend. :)

    All the best

What puzzles me is why people still sponsor and watch such non-racing. The "pinnacle of motorsport" - I don't think so.

The benefits for sponsors are considerable, and being at the event experiencing the atmosphere is very different from watching it in your dressing gown at 7am on a Sunday morning. Despite it occasionally being a micron from mediocrity the race is only a maximum of 2 hours of a weekend spent in places such as Dubai, Monaco, Spa and other gorgeous locations. Personally I like to watch. A race can be dissapointing, as this one was but occasionally you get a gem and for me they are worth waiting for. And British champions are not so rare you spend a lifetime waiting for one.;)
