    I also have a few if anyone wants one. Note, that all they are doing is auto-scanning your email and showing very discrete ads in the side bar on the browser. They do not send ads to your email account.

    Not sure why people are so concerned about the scanning gmail do. In sending an email from a-b, the email passes through any number of servers which *may* store your email, and may in fact do whatever they want with it. At least Gmail are being up front. Email is at best the equivalent of a postcard.

    it can't be as bad as the zillions of spam i now get through pop3,its ridiculous,despite Spamkiller (just how many ways can you spell v1agra,v 1agr a,v!ag ra etc etc !!!)
