I'd concur with all those recommendations (but avoid the Lovage album at all costs), but add that if you like Del, and who wouldn't, you should check out stuff by the Hieroglyphics collective. I'd start with Third Eye Blind by Hieroglyphics or '93 til Infinity by Souls of Mischief, as they are both bonafide classics.
