There are better female singer songwriters/artists, I like Martha Wainright, her debut is great.

KTT arrived in the same delivery (from Amazon this aft) as Bruce Springsteen, Devils & Dust. I had great hopes for the KTT, I can only hope it will grow on me. First ever purchase of Springsteen as well and on first listen I enjoyed it much more!

I,can posibbly spot a few more better tunes than you can.
I didn't say she didn't sound Scottish/British whatever your flavour is but she sings with an American accent and to me that is ****e. Bet you like Coldplay anawl ! 500000 people like it guess I.ll like it too.My taste is a little bit esoteric ,buy I can stand up fir myself.

hmm you know I don't actually remember! I think I heard or saw something a little bit before I posted that which said some Scottish people don't like to think of themselves as British, although part of the UK.

I can’t say I have met any that mind, but I have only met a few and I don’t think I asked them about it! lol

I don't actually have the album as its not something I'd listen to usually. As I wouldn't listen to Coldplay at home either. But when it comes on the radio I can tell its a decent job and leave it on rather than turning it over like when 'My Humps' or some other pish comes on. That is of course, until they overplay it and I get bored of it as happens with acts like Coldplay and to a lesser extent KT.

Coldplay, KT, James Blunt etc are popular because they are catchy and usually well written tunes. We get saturated with them being fired accross the airwaves every minute of the day but it doesn't mean the music isn't any good.

Theres a difference between sh1te like Charlotte Church and 'sh1te' like KT Tunstall and that difference is the presence of musical talent that you can't deny is there.

Don't get the thing about the yank accent btw...can't say I've noticed that.

I've been listening to this album a few times in last week or so. Its OK, quite good, allright. But no more than that. Its pleasant, well written, nicely performed but nothing new and I suspect it'll go on the shelf at home and not come out again for quite some time.
