Right, just put my telepathy head on....hmmmm...no, no, its no good, I can't get your address with this method. You're just going to have to pm me like everyone else has if you want some tickets. ;)

hiya sorry about that I kept meaning to do this, just been really busy with uni work and stuff. I'll send the PM now. Thanks:)

Thanks to all of you who have replied so far. I've replied by pm to all ticket requests. Please, if you didn't get a pm response to your ticket request then do drop me another line :)

I visited the Radisson hotel on Friday to have a look at using a larger room. Its a fabulous venue with plenty of open space, and it occured to me that it would be a great place for fellow Zero Gainers meet face-to-face.

If you want to set up times to meet in my room (now 208) before decamping to the bar or coffee lounge then you are more than welcome :D

edit: For AT's benefit I am of course refering to the two days of the Northern Hi-Fi show :newbie:

Oh, nearly forgot. Anyone else requiring tickets please send a pm straight away. The last day I can accept requests and still have tickets posted in time for the show is Wednesday 28th Jan.

Regards

I've got an exam on on Wednedsday at 10:00am but then I can get the train from Salford to the airport so can probably there about 2:00ish or somthing.

I am not sure where the hotel is yet but I will find it easily enough.

What time does close?

Amazingtrade!

Wednesday is the last time for sending tickets, not the show date!

The show is Sat/Sun ,7th/8th February, I think 10am till 5pm.

The Radisson is right outside the front entrance to Terminal 2, just to the left as you approach. It is well signposted.

Cheers,

Ed.

I just hope you read your exam questions more carefully than your read this thread.

Hehe sorry I've not with it lately. Last year I nearly messed up a broadcasting technology exam because I thouht we had to answer 4 questions, I miss read it turned out it was 5! I still got 48% and because it was the first year it wasn't the end of the world.

I shall be reading every inch of the exam papers this year though!

Hi,

look here for details.

I should be going on the Sunday.

SCIDB
Well, at a guess I would say that as most of the companies listed on the tickets in SCIDB's link above are manufacturers, and most will have their own room, so it's a fairly safe bet that you'll see each companies prime product ranges ;)

Then there's the retailers who will bring along their own stock plus some brands not covered directly by other exhibitors. What are Audio Works, Acoustica, Bradys, and Sevenoaks key brands then?

Acoustica stock Naim, Primare and Arcam B&W amoung others.

A quick look through, the rooms I'd like to look in are:- Sugden, Becanto, Lynwood, Audio note, Accuphase, Dali and Focal.jm-lab.I'll have to see what the other Dealers are demonstrating. Oh and your room Hexspurt

The AudioWorks room will be playing an Accuphase DP-77 SACD/CD player into an Accuphase E-530 Class A integrated amp and the new Focal.JM Lab Diva Utopias.

Other rooms where I have spies are

Quadraspire will be launching the new Acrylic Reference table, using an Accuphase DP-67, a Spectral DMC 12, a Hot Tubes JD1 power amp and Focal.JM Lab Micro Utopias.

Focal.JM Lab will be playing their Alto Utopias with dCS Verdi/Elgar and Spectral DMC15/DMA 100S. They will also have a smaller system in their large room.

Sugden are going to use their Masterclass CD/Pre/Monoblocks into Focal.JM Lab Micro Utopias.

RT Services (Accuphase/Spectral/Nagra etc distributor) have 3 rooms, one of which will be Nagra, don't know details on the others.

Creek/Epos will launch the new CD50 Mk2 and the M12.2 & M15.2 speakers.

I will be helping out Mr Spurt in the Philips room by providing the sound system - Roksan Caspian DVD/DSP/amp into Definitive Tecnology Mythos speakers and a REL Stadium.

Let the party begin!

woooo theres a Dali room?

IMO the best sounding room at heathrow high end show 2002 used a pair of Dali's.

Hope everybody checks these out and reports back (with photos! ;) )

Everyone who requested tickets should receive them in the post over the next day or two :)

Look forward to meeting some of you guys there. TTFN :D
