Ooops, sorry Saab - thought you'd pick it up on vinyl.
The extra track is a live rendition of "Rather be The Devil" and was included on the 2000 remaster (issued in a jewel case with sleeve). I owned one of the older Island versions and the difference in quality wasn't subtle.
The one i have is the 2000 remastered Island cd,its very good,I suppose it needs to be considering he uses a double bass in many tracks (so i have the extra track)
its an excellent cd,i like it a lot, reminds me of Nillson a bit,
Dom, didn't know that about "Five Leaves Left" - way cool :MILD:.
It's also my favourite album of his and was a huge influence on Paul Weller during the sessions for "Wild Wood"; not a bad album either .
I'm GUESSING that's where he got the title - makes sense though Paul Weller's "Wild Wood" is excellent - I'd love to own that on vinyl. My CD is one of the infamous self-destructing PDO ones - in fact - this is the very disc (before sending back for replacement!):
Right - might well have to trot along to HMV and sort out those Nick Drake CDs - the vinyl might well sound better but the Simply releases still use a digital delay line in the master lathe cutting stage...
