I'm not suggesting you use the blankets to damp the energy from the stands. That would destroy the whole point. The blankets don't have to touch the stands, they should just be placed so that they mask any subtle sounds coming from the stands to the listener.
 
Steve, the stands are not audible. They are being 'driven' by the speaker cabinets, and the amount of vibration in them is proportional to the volume, but much smaller. I would have thought that it might be in your interests to carry out speaker stand experiments yourself.

I do but not with Mana as I don't own any. I thought you might be curious is all.
 
Unless they had £2m to put in as well as purchasing the company I give them 6-12months, not due to their abilities, but due to current climate in that sector of the market, but I will be happy for them to prove me wrong :)
 
They should be ok for a bit, the development of the DAC X / XP and Phono X is complete, lets just hope they get rid of those Icon speakers :SLEEP:
