[/QUOTE] That'd be the camera auto increasing the ISO speed (i.e. >ISO1000) to maintain a reasonably fast shutter speed in low light conditions. Worth getting an idea of what the cameras doing but you really do need a tripot (or unusually steady hands) to get good stuff in low light. A camerman buddy of me taught me a great trick to hold the camera steady, basically take a breath and open the shutter as you SLOWLY breath out. There's a tendacy to hold your breath when trying to hold a camera steady but that's not a good idea. Try it, it works for me.
