speaker advice please

I used to have a pair of horn loaded compression drivers (Image dynamics) in one of my cars, they used to rock a bit, though I had to remove the glove box to fit them !!

 

The V series :-

Bring it on. I bet they sound passable with valves!

 

Using the reasoning of another forum member, these will sound brilliant because they look ****.

 

i found a pair for $299 in the usa if they didn't weigh as much as me it'd be worth it just for a laugh but 600 quid is to expensive for a piss about. besides i've got my eyes on something else.

What wasn't quite right for you? What did you change to?

 

I found them to be lacking in body, great detail but no oomph, especialy at not neighbour annoying levels.
I have changed to Meadowlark Kestrel hotrods
