That's not good. You know I'm not even sure where I got mine from! I just rang that number you gave me.
Have you talked your mate into doing something sensible yet with his gear? I noticed that the dealer that shan't be named had a Bryston Power amp for 300, and then adding some second hand floorstanders at £500 should blow him away. mind you it's up to him isn't it.

 

Nope, not good at all, last he said was that it was on super fast delivery, that was 10 days ago At this rate i may buy the most expensive i can and get them fitted by a pro, then bill the lazy git for it. (I am quietly fuming, but what can i do? I dont want to send them back - tempting tho it is)

Ive not spoken to my mate yet about all this, the bryston could be a good call.

 

Trouble is if you send them back, you'll spend ages finding another set, and probably end up buying something more expensive

 

Rich - I will come over, verify performance of said speakers and indoctrinate you into the loyal order of meadowlark. How's that?
