Yep, that's what I thought you were saying. And though i'm not certain, I can't imagine having a ported cabinets port completely covered will be doing the speakers any favours! Get that MDF on there ASAP!

hahah yeah sorry it was a miss understanding, the MDF plates are on there already, they are just not secured or painted yet, but the bass port is not covered. Sorry about that it was my fault for not mentioning it.

I've not had chance to try the positioning today as my computer has been playing up, it may need a format b

I shall report on my findings tomorrow though.
