    He he - as I say, the two really freaky experiences were when I was 7, although even then I went out of my way to get drinks with Tartrazine in; mum always wandered why I was hyperactive...

    Let's face it - Matrix or no Matrix, anyone who works in this country is a slave to B.Liar anyway - he's invariably more nasty than any squid machine.

    The first film reminded me of the pulp science-fiction I hoovered up as a teenager. I really enjoyed it, nice internal logic.

    The wakawski (?) brothers seemed to swallow their own pseudo-philisophical b******t for the 2nd two.

    Having sat through the 2nd one I did see a glimmer of hope. When Nero was able to stop the hunter killers with his mind I HOPED that it meant they were trapped in another layer of the Matrix. No such luck.

    I hired the third film that continued the nose dive, and haven't bothered to buy it.
