can't say they had any great effect ....

you can buy very exepensive signal valves that already have the heat shrink fitted ...mesa boogie

theres a simple test for microphony ...get a pencil with a rubber on the end and gently tap the tubes with it, amp needs to be on and no signal ....see how much you can hear of the tapping from he speakers

Can't find my spare dampers unfortunately, and now I come to think of it I recall selling all my random bits and bobs on ebay some while ago and I reckon the dampers were among them.....soz.
