I cant argue with any of that.

I like single ended amps and border patrol as a manufacturer too.

I just wanted to add that the Rogue Audio monoblocks (2k used), and the EAR V20 (quite nice integrated 1.4k used) are both second hand in the emporiums stocks. You would probably get a decent trade on your Krell.

Im a big fan of the Graaf GM20 too, and would have a listen if you see one second hand (they are around fairly often around 3k new, 1.5-2k used).

I havent heard the Audio Research models mentioned - they might be a good match for your pre.

thanx Guys, and I WISH my budget was £25K...... :D

I,ve been looking at THOR stuff s/hand a tad more realistic at
around £4K for the same pre I heard but the mono's are an earlier version....

Does Emporium allow home dem over a couple of week period
half a day is no good for me,

I could get a home dem of the Thor stuff but I think that would be grossly unfair on the the dealer, knowing I would buy the stuff elsewhere.

Im sure that he would, providing that you agreed to pay courier costs in both directions, and insured the return leg.

Have a look at the site, theres a shed load of quality valve gear there... www.emporiumhifi.com
