VRDS help please

    For all my joking, I really love the Teacs - they sound good to me, though no doubt there is better - and, as you have noticed, are built in a comfortingly old-fashioned way :)
    I actually chose my VRDS50 in preference to an Accuphase CDP...

    Don't know about you, but I feel they seem to have rather lost their way over at Teac/Esoteric.
    still ahve my eyes on one of those Victor K2 DACs. If I wait just a bit longer - say another year - they should fall withinn reach.

    I adore the no nonsense approach of this kit. The vfm is simply staggering. I did even have a mad thought of picking up another to keep boxed up in the loft for spares in the future. Or is it just as easy to buy new bits? Thinking of the lazer, screen, odds and sods, boards etc. Good idea, or waste of time?

    I don't think it will be that long before *no one* is making CD mechs anymore. So that's not such a hair-brained idea as it may at first appear.
