Perhaps you just need to see the black version:

Picks look like they're from kustom PCs, silverstone(thats what it is?) make some lovely cases, was gonna build one as dvd player writer etc, when I have the cash. Although I prefer siolver, the pics don't do them justice.
Go for it TB, you know you want to :)

Yes, they are open-ear. I do get funny looks wearing them on the train into work, though.

He he - reminds me of a comedy sketch (late 80s?) where a rock musician is so deaf, he has to have large bookshelf speakers as monitoring headphones in the studio - looked very funny!

Then there's that "Last of the summer wine" episode with Compo with the portable PA system, complete with speakers, around his waist...

I have some improvements to make when I have time...

Monitors not shown, but it's a pair of 21" CRTs.

Because I have a nasty habit of doing way too many things at once...

Currently I have four chat clients, 12 firefox windows, mail client, ftp client, four conversations, four chat rooms and motherboard monitor open....

Then occasionally I do some work too....

Oh, and just watched an episode of scrubs too...

When I was writing software for Macs I used to have three monitors - a 21" colour, a 21" greyscale and a 13" colour.
By the time you've opened a project window, a few source files for editing, a debug window, a few watch windows and whatever windows are opened by the program you're debugging, even 3 screens isn't always enough!

garyi - they do stop some vibrations travelling through the desk and make the computer a little quieter in operation. So yes.

There's two ways... Multiple graphics cards, or single graphics card with multiple outputs. I, however, have gone both ways, with three cards with a total of four outputs in the machine (I used to run more screens than now).
