I was saddened to hear about the recent death in Hollywood of Samuel Deans, the original author of the evergreen party favourite 'The Hokey-Cokey'.

Samuel was a popular figure and will be much missed. His funeral was marred by distressing scenes when the undertakers were transferring the body into the casket.

The trouble started just after they put his left leg in....
