Yes naim and pf forums - full of naim and atc owners who have got the hump their own kit is getting a kicking thse days. Just as I said. PF is just you and your mates bub. Which is why I got kicked off when I dared to claim pmc might be better than atc, naim offer poor value, linn are a bit behind the pace etc earning the antagonism of the pfm mafia in exactly the way demonstrated by you to thorsten on this thread.

What you guys cannot seem to understand is that I am perfectly happy with my choices. I don't regard hi-fi as a competitive sport, and if I hear anything better in the future, I may well change.

I've recently bought a new cartridge, for instance. Please don't start on that, by the way.
 
Bub, I suggest you actually do some real life A - B demo's before airing your opinions in public. Perhaps we might even listen to your opinions then, when it's not all made up guess work.

I'll give one thing to you though, it's been amusing reading. :D

Only a slect minority slag off pmc. The ones owning atc largely. How odd.

There is a difference between everything and anything.

A shop dem is the only way to tell if somehting is worth a home dem. Not the opinions of a group of rabid atc owners. Or Merlin. Listen to the pmcs. Buy the pmcs. then eat your words!

The reason you were kicked off is possibly your lack of insight.

I couldn't care less what you think about me, or my system, or my opinions. We will never meet, so you might as well not exist.

I've never commented on kit which I haven't heard.
 
Better to be unhappy like socrates than happy like an ignorant piggy rolling in the pig sty. If you keep your ears and eyes closed of course they will be the best. Try some dems - they work if you apply a little rigour and effort. No choice is certain bub. The reassurances you have secured are illusion.

Lack of insight isnt against the pfm rules - if it were true. Annoying the mafia is. Just like when I annoyed you and you squealed for me to be banned.

Why don't you go & do a load of needless auditions?

I still have an active interest in hi-fi, but nothing I hear these days measures up to my own system. As I said earlier, a large part of why this is the case is the room.
 
Actually Bub is just like all the blokes in our office. They all love music and buy tones of it. However they all use dixons midi systems, chosen as they were silver and tiny. They all refuse to listen to a real decent hifi and laugh that others spend so much on proper hifi kit. They all think it can't sound any better than their little bargains. How clever they think they are in their wise choice, LOL. Highly amusing when they air their opinions. If only they knew.

You are quite loud in airing your opinions in public, over something you have never heard. Very entertaining. Whatever next, lol. Keep it up though, as it makes my afternoon at work fly by :D :D :D
 
Bub - this was a reasonable discussion then you got all huffy as you felt we were picking on atc which meant we are by your logic picking on you. So you picked on everyone who you thought was responsible. Give it a rest.

Close the thread is a wise decision I think. Chalk another one up to bub.
