Pete I don't resent anyone for their views, but I do resent being told repeatedly I am wrong or misguided or whatever, this is not directed at you or anyone in particular.

I thought that was quite a good one Pete ;)

Some others that cause equal offense would include "delusionary", "imaginary" and the classic "gullible"

I prefer knobcheese to be honest - at least it's above the belt so to speak ;)

    Just brilliant!

Are you happy with your system or is there a nagging sensation that it could be improved, if by buying x,y or z then you attain that level of nirvana then nothing else really matters

I do apologise Saab and thanks for the tip.

I guess slang is not my strong point when taught to spell correctly at skool.

yes,it could be me,but I always thought a knob was a door handle, and a nob is a nob,but then again,I used to think a hen and a chicken were different creatures

    Michaelab,

How have you described the the DAC64 in the ad?

Something like 'the second finest digital source known to humanity' I guess :D

tones - I didn't mean sarcasm in a bad sense. Lighthearted is a better description.

julian - I didn't think there was anything wrong with your lighthearted reply or the ones that followed it but merlin obviously did.

robbo - I haven't "described" the DAC64 as such. Someone looking for a DAC64 doesn't need a description. The ad is on PFM. Haven't put one here out of respect for A0S who's also selling his so I didn't want to damage his prospects as he appears to need the money whereas I don't and can wait until I get the right price.

ak - what if you are wrong and misguided? Wouldn't you want someone to let you know? ;)

    Michael.
