Oh please do, it'll be fun to meet up with some of you guys on my turf, I'll be there....................don't forget to wear your *zero-to-be-gained* badges :p

Now now boys. We want a nice, pleasant show with plenty of lovey-dovey and an atmosphere conducive to encouraging some of the wealthier patrons (with good taste in speakers) to relieve themselves of any superfluous dosh they may have.

I shall be wearing my "Zero Gain - Nothing to Lose" badge.

"will you wear yours?"

Naah, Michael won't let me have one:rolleyes:

"or should i look for the guy that everyone hates?"

Naah, look for the guy who is friends with all the locals, is a 6'4 bodybuilder wearing a black leather Avirex jacket and pokes at people wearing *zero-to-be-gained* badges!

Enjoy.....

Sorry guys, can't stand the geekiness of hi-fi shows although I'm sure none of you lot here belong there. I had an old bloke in an anorak, yeah seriously, follow me all round a show once. Kept trying to give him the slip, but failed miserably. He had the classic high pitched whiney voice and everything. Put me off shows for life. Besides there are never any good looking women. Nuff said.

yeah... hi fi forum turf wars... ok guys, bare knuckes only, no chains, knives, baseball bats, knitting needles, stanleys, dusters or guns. everybody meet up in the naim room and get reeeeeeeeeeady tooooo ruuuuuummmmmmmmmbbbbbblllllllllle.

seriously though barnie, if you hold us in such low regard why do you hang out here at all?

perhaps an official zero gain badge might be a good idea? maybe someone with better photoshop skills than i could knock one up or perhaps just use the logo at the top of the screen?

btw. usually stand tottie is quite high quality and there were some nice barmaids at the bristol thing.

kirk, did he have a flask of weak lemon drink? that is truly scary, i'd have had to say something to him like oooh - F*UCK OFF, you creepy little man... yeah that probably would have done it...

cheers

I think I've fallen in love with Penance :D

Seriously though julian, I drop in now an again because it's a Hi-Fi forum and I like Hi-Fi, simple really.

Nice to see you don't hold any grudges from our little ding dong a while back, sorry if it pushed the wrong button, but when the crap gets slung about it's gloves off. No need for it though really. I'll buy ya a pint if you make it to the show, but you'll need to be wearing your badge ;)

Cheers

Barnie.

barnie,
i'll take you up on the pint (nothing alcoholic though cos i'll be driving) and i'll buy you one in return.

lifes too short for holding grudges especially when i've never actually met you, only an avatar filtered through the medium of text.

cheers

no, most of us at Zerogain are just a regular bunch. Below is a pic of a group of some of the guys and their partners taken at the Bristol show. From the back left to right are michaelab, Henry, Timpy, Sideshowbob, Lilolee, merlin, Julian, Tony (WM), Mrs Tony, Mrs Robbo and Robbo.
