Heathrow High Fidelity Show - April 3rd and 4th

I was there that day. I'll never forget it. I was the one taking the picture.

Do you think the C37 on the lens was such a good idea?

I think I'll come along with a sheaf of CVs under my arm...

Any lift shares with those inhabiting the local area will be welcome...

I think I'll come along too for fun. :)

Steve - you have PM..

Julian - share a car if you want?

NB
If anyone else is driving, watch out.. at the one I went to at the Renaissance hotel 2 years ago, if you said you were going for the hifi show, the hotel charged you 3 x the price for parking!!!!!

Id reccomend parking at another hotel, or pub, or mcdonalds nearby.. whatever you can find really... just in case. It was about a tenner they charged me.

See you all there.

Chris

oh yeah, I wanna go on Sat.

I'd very much like to come, I don't see any reason why I won't be there, so I'll send my fiver off later in the week. I'll go on whatever day most people seem to be attending on - be good to meet everyone.
Simon

yet again another hifi show clashing with work  got the joys of a queen tribute band visiting on the saturday and davey jones (from the monkeys) on sunday

Oh, I suppose as so many of you are going along I will show up too. I am a bit showed out TBH, so its purely for the social (and to annoy WM).

As it's really easy from where I live, I might go by train this time so that I can have a few bevvies and not bother about the ridiculous parking costs.

Hey, you guys are lucky  I had 3 whole day of Jazz cats man and Lou bloody Reid :o Mikey boy may have his snake oil retarant gear on, but I've been preparing my full metal plinque suit, finely crafted with fibres of woven Nora jones repelant, and pat barber inhibitor, with lashing & lashings of anti pipe & slipper lotion :)

I'll be there, gotta do some work though so I may not be able to stick around for ZG pow wow.

looking forward to it. //lamboy

Nice try, but s'not going to protect you from a full-on Brotzman assault :JOEL:

I might be able to make this. May still be craming in the hours to make up for these two weeks or so it's looking like i'm to be taking off with the chicken pox though. Will have to see....

List of Exhibitors

The show organizers have put up a list of exhibitors on their web site (although you usually get one or two additional late bookers).
List of Exhibitors for the Heathrow High Fidelity Show - April 3rd and 4th.

"Privileged tickets" (cheaper) are still available to anyone who sends me an S.A.E. Details are on my web site.

I haven't yet received the tickets, although I'm expecting them any day. So don't panic if you're waiting for them.

See you there guys.

We're taking a slightly different approach this time.

At the Bristol Show, we used matching amplifiers from Steinhart Audio for the full-range and bass speakers. It was quite a good compromise but this time we're going for a Border Patrol P20 to give some real mid-band magic to the Nonsuch 4s :music: and letting Tone loose with his Bel Canto on the Little Awesomes. :drum:

I'm looking forward to hearing what we'll get.

For the rest of the line up. :band:

Just to add, A special Trichord Delphini with added Oh Yes!! will be gracing the stand as well, thought I'll give the Wadia a little pep up since the last show.
Will be a more relaxed and open affair than Bristol I feel. Wm

How much power is the P20 steve? is it single ended?

I bet it sounds pretty awesome, knowing BP stuff.

everyone, do try to check out two of the best sounding exhibitors in 2001's show (in my humble opo)

Aaudiosolutions Dali.Korato. Opus 3. Cartridge Man. Silver Arrow

Audio Atmosphere Furutech. TAOC. Zerodust. Shunyata Research. Hegel

:)
