I'm not sure my age has much to do with it - my opinion is that I think you are premature in dismissing entire formats based on your kit.

I'm not too sure how you draw that conclusion, but like your other conclusions it seems a little astray of reality.

Personally I dont consider the CD12 to be "all that" and secondly did you listen to it via the same Pioneer amp?

I think you are missing my point.
