Installing FLAC & WiFi question

    it was flac an i changed it to .flac an still get same error message.

    il try it on a other pc.

    I've just tried a fresh install on mine and it seemed to work ok.

    If it fails on another pc let me know and I'll double check everything

    I rechecked the EAC setup, seems OK. I suspect there's something I do not do right.

    I find that if I drag or add the obtained .wav files to the FLAC frontend, they readily convert to .flac, but surely there's a way to rip to .flac directly?

    That's the settings I had, except for CRC and ID3 which were not ticked. Just did a test track, and still get the .wav file only.

    Which Action (or button) do you use to rip?

    thanks for the help all ive got it to work using EAC

    and i use the button with the pic of hard drive an says mp3 on it

    the mp3 ? button to rip to flac with all the bits set up

    I've tried that too. Looks like EAC is not finding FLAC then?
