WM,

The guy from Bel Canto insists that the eVo sounds better on Stillpoints, as a matter of fact they alert us for good support in the manual, so I am ordering two sets...

Now, under the speakers it is out of question, as I have standmounts and the center fitts tight in its acrilic shelf, I wonder if, as it is the only piece missing, I should put a set under the processor too, what do you think...

Antonio,

You mean like this,

I have tried them under processors, they do work, but not to such a degree, do get the raisers as well the give you height adjustment.
However without question the work best under CDPs/transports. T.

Thanks,

I dont need the raisers, I think... :shame:

Good, so I will pass a set for the processor, wich is convenient too, because it is much taller than the rest...

But I will get the extra set for the power, I can always sell it if it doesnt work...

Perish the thought. Queer was used in it's original context of odd or peculiar. It was a sod to find another word that rhymed.
Isn't it a shame that we can no longer use words like 'queer' or 'gay' in their original contexts?

It wasn't so long ago either. Didn't the Flintstones used to have a 'Gay Old Time' each week?

My rack is metal, quite solid, and well anchored with all the gear on it, including an over 60 kg TV.

The shelves are heavy MDF, I did put some weak "things" of various materials and origins between them and the metal, I have been trying to overcome my lazyness and replace them with sorbothane small feet, is it worth it...

You are thinking of the version shown on the 'adult channel'
No, it's the last line of the theme tune.

... Of course, you need the right speakers to hear it clearly. ;)

Haha I see.

Revelations, revelations. 7 Veil speakers are really for AV then? hehehe

Well you might laugh.

I use a Nicam TV tuner to give stereo output through my system. Very nice it is too. The signature tunes for the news programmes are amongst my personal favourites.

However, I can reveal that there will soon be Nonsuch 2s and Nonsuch 1s. These are standmounts and are designed for AV as well as stereo. There will be front centre versions to match.

I haven't had much experience with AV but I understand that timbre matching - mains to centre to surrounds - is crucial. If so, I should have the last laugh.

PS: Wait until you hear the planned Overwhelmingly Friggin' Awesome subs, especially designed for the realistic acoustic reproduction of earthquakes, dinosaur roars and small nuclear explosions. :D

They'll also do WM style thwack too, whilst retaining total integrity

My two sets of Stillpoints arrived... :boogie:

First the player, larger stage, taller and quite deeper...

Then the Bel Canto power, because the sales man recommended them so much, sharper sound, better defined... :yikes:

Didnt bother testing under the pre/pro, as I only have the two sets and dont feel like geting any more... :shame:

Overall the sound has "considerably" more body, even the wife noticed when she got home... :MILD:

It is not that tight, "lots" of room to breath, I didn't need the risers, so saved the extra cash...

Before the Stillpoints:
