BD, Lee has replied how I would have done. I have no doubts the NOS DAC will sound, well, rather good in any system you care to put it in :)

I would be very, very happy... because the Eclipse ain't cheap.

Since the RA01 would have a much better null test result than Michael's pre/power combo would, the problem only could be either the Eclipse or the speakers... but as the NOS DAC would sound very good with the speakers I only would have one choice... bye, bye Eclipse!
