Crank Dot Net has a few entries for crystals. None mention hifi. Must be nonsense then.

 

There's a difference between what can be perceived as personal, and what is perceived as general FWIW.

Personal hurts people, general tends to be ignored by the same. Hence personal insults get removed or those that can be perceived that way.
