SM, You have a very fascistic notion of freedom of speech and would do well to remember it is a nuanced concept.
It's the egregeous manner in which the rubbishing of someones personal integrity/pov/opinion/experience/kit that's the issue here-how many warnings to tone it down does it take before you get it?
Obviously you're still licking your wounds from the spanking you got on a previous thread-for making ridiculous claims funily enough LOL.
Dont worry you'll soon have ZG all to yourselves.
You also seem incapable of spotting a troll when you see one.

    Cooky,

You obviously have "issues". I can't help that I'm afraid. Your attempts at a dig are frankly risable - and you will find I have had a lot less warnings than you might imagine. That's because I generally stick to the AUP and point that out to others. The fact that you take issue with someone pointing out that crystals, divining rods and fairies have little to do with audio is sad. If you don't like my definition of free speech, I would suggest you do some reading.

As for this imaginary other thread you refer to, please point me in that direction as I'm totally unaware of any wound. Or are you suggesting you are that Troll (come on down etc)? Bizarre post if I might say so. Almost as if someone is.. well I wouldn't want you to go running off to headmaster would I ;-)

but to be fair pete - if you start a light hearted post like this - then you have to expect the others to join in the jokes/fun...

    SM,
Hubris-ancient greek or modern interpretation, take your pick;-)
The troll is (proof that it is truly beyond your ken)the thread itself.
The effects of crystals? crystals ffs? on ZG? Helloooooo?

The only 'sad' thing about it is you can't supress the need to abuse when mere condescention would suffice.

I have been following the follies here. Entertaining to some degree however common sense would do well.
Freedom of speech is a great, unless its used without discretion. I mean the KLu Klux Clan wouldn't fare well marching down 125TH. St in Harlem. Freedom of speech is a right our forefathers DIED for. Yet most abuse the privledge and take it for granted. A sorry state of affairs IMO.
Lighten up men its only a sound system. Its all subjective to the listener, there is no right or wrong in our hobby.

Freedom of speech, but don't say the wrong things?

OK, I don't want to derail this thread. Freedom of speech is an honour that was paid for in blood sweat and tears (still is). Freedom to believe in faeries and unicorns and magic crystals - now thats judicious use of our rights too. Not.

Its where and how you say those things that counts. I'm sure Mum and Dad taught you some manners. If someone believes in fairies let them be. Are you the guy who tells children that there is no Santa at Christmas? I don't think so. I can appreciate a bit of tounge and cheek [ with mustard on Rye] as everyone else does but sometimes we go too far.
Everyone is entitled to an opinion, its the presentation of it thats the issue here. I don't believe much of the snake oil either, but give the man his say, its all in fun.
They laughed at Da Vinci, Columbus, Sir Issac Newton, glad to see it didn't last. Now Zanash is no Newton or DaVinci he's just having some fun with you guys. Live and let live goes a long way, my friend.

Are there any queers in the theater tonight?
Get them up against the wall!
There's one in the spotlight, he don't look right to me,
Get him up against the wall!
    That one looks Jewish!
    And that one's a coon!
Who let all of this riff-raff into the room?
    There's one smoking a joint,
    And another with spots!
    If I had my way,
I'd have all of you shot!

LOL, please collect your jackboots and Hugo Boss styled uniform from reception....

I told my son there was no father christmas, no tooth fairy, no monster trolls under the bridge.

He thanked me for it, and wondered why he'd been lied to.

    Roll on progress...

I put a few fake CCTV cameras up around the house and told my son that if he doesn't behave the police will come and take him away.

He's been as good as gold since the install.

    nice!

    lol

When I was a kid, my mum told me the... (big old red house we used to drive past every day) was the home for naughty boys, and I'd go there unless I was good.

Worked a treat, until I read the sign.... I'd been scared of a nursery...

Thanks very much for that Zanash.

I know you like to think of this place as ZanashGain but at the moment you are neither an administrator or moderator so kindly know your place and let them do their job. No need to try to rise above your station really is there?

    Sold any cables recently?
