L'Arpeggiata with Christina Pluhar - Los Impossibles.
Bought after reading a HiFi+ review (which very very rarely works out for me :rolleyes:) but this one is absolutely fantastic. Love it.

Cara Dillon - Hill of Thieves.
For anyone who thinks that Cara Dillon's first album was great (in parts at least) and that her subsequent realeases have been patchy then
a) me too;
b) this, her latest, is a definite return to form. Quite possibly her best effort and without doubt worth the price of admission.

A great live album

I really enjoy listening to good live albums and recently came across this one - Running on Empty, Jackson Browne. A whole album of excellent entertainment, the last two tracks really stand out and they make you wish you had been there when the concert was recorded. :MILD:

A great album. I love the track "Nothing But Time" which was recorded on the tour bus (you can hear the engine) - the bass drum in that track was a cardboard box.

Hi Nick,

No I haven't heard of Mike sheridan, thanks for the tip. I'll start looking right away!

The new Robert Henke solo album is pretty decent - not his best work imho but worth checking out...

Kings of Convenience - Quiet is the new loud
Helios - Caesura
Tape - Milieu plus
Akira Yamaoka - Silent Hill homecoming OST

All great!

Tricky - Knowlewest Boy
Stereophonics - Dakota Live

Fad Gadget - Back to Nature - really ace track.
