Oops pun not intended it was indeed the latter;)
digital If you are interested in digital amps, Flying Mole have some great looking products coming onto the market... http://www.audiocourses.com/article436.html aquapiranha
Don't need to null test the rotel, Teedee and Beedee, have already declared the rotel second only to Teedee's bespoke masterpiece, but I would not let that belcanto onto my rack if you hear even a trace of sound when you null test it. Which BC is it, or are ye not tellin'?
Stock Evo 4 is very disappointing. I'm sure WM will be able to help out though! I actually like the sound but am concerned that you have bought one without null testing.
that's nasty, the man is waiting impatiently for his new toy and you tell him it's crap, just coz you don't like it, tsk tsk tsk. You should have said something like, "Great amp Andy, and if you let WM tinker with it, you'll have an even greater amp" And I thought you knew all about TACT. Now appologise!
Oooh, you've gone for the biggie too! Consider me properly jealous. Must feel good to know your amp quest is at an end though.
I was only reporting what WM told me himself Hence the qualification that I actually like it. I don't know. Meadowlarks, BelCanto. When can we expect the Wadia to arrive Mr P?
Ignore em Mr P, If you only paid half the retail price then the Evo 4 was a great buy. I thought the sun shone out of all the Becanto amps arses mr WM changing your opinion, surely not. As I said a while back IMO its a good amp @ around £2K certainly not worth nearly £4K
The problem is, just about most of them I've heard are never brought to they full potential, however we have no such problems here. That's not to say they arn't better amps, becasue they are the 1062 for instance
