Dont blame me for this thread!

Mike - bring your linn over and I am sure we can make that statement genuine. A p3 might be going too far.

"So summing up then?"

"...and if you have one SELL IT!"

"ah, irony"

Classic stuff. It's turned into some kind of comedy sketch round here recently. :D

Another Google suggests he likes talking dirty to Asian girls.

I don't know which I find more excusable

he has a 30 year old design arm i think? i think leonard is living in the stone age, by the look of his bike i'm sure he is.
Not quite stone age - I can't imagine that neanderthal man sitting in his cave , on those long dark evenings before telly, would be whittling away at a lump of purest aluminium to produce a Guzzi engine.
Surely he'd invent the wheel first... Then the Harley engine... Which incidentally goes very well indeed in the Buell!
And there's nowt wrong with the SME 3009 either - grand old design, cheap and nice sounding.. A musicmaker rather than playback device.
Personally I don't like the SME V very much - too hifi for me. Give me a Morch any day (and when I feel like spending the money I'll buy one, perhaps. Can't justify it to the Mrs after breaking 2 carts )

I apologise to all for just wanting to sell my LP12, which started this thread off.

I'll get my coat.
Stick it on ebay with a starting price of £1 someone's bound to have a punt at it. :p

It doesn't happen that often, but a wall shelf for that t/t and CDP is looking very likely, as soon as I get the fireplace taken out which is in the way and spoiling the room/hi-fi layout.

Havn't you got that fireplace out yet? Shift the hifi and we'll have that out of Thursday if ya like! :) I'll bring the prybar! fireplaces another waste of space, not like we haven't had central heating for 20 years!

I've managed to get my CDP to jump a few times here too.
It's either a wallshelf or I fill in the void below the floorboards with concrete.
Arm is an SME V.
Problem there is, if you fill the void with concrete you'll get damp problems, another can of worms you don't want to open.

Suspended floors suck henryT mine is as bouncy has hell, walk in the lounge and the TV wobbles, I blame cowboy builders! I've heard you can stiffen the floor, inserting more 'noggings' maybe even thicker floorboard, I'll certainly be looking into it.

Bit suspect is all Markus, more that he seems to be trolling, than who he is, checking his IP addy, it apears that he is coming from where he says, but we all know how these can be cloned to make one look as if they are coming from somwhere else, reckon thats what Mike was alluding to, oh and he and BBV are showing different IP's but again nowt conclusive in that, No I reckon he's just at the windup, nothing sinister, unless it's a banned member f**king around

boys what can i say to you to prove i'm genuine. i am winding you up a lot of the time, so lighten up a bit if you dare.

Of course I haven't. :) Because I don't have the tools or necesary know how I'm still trying to get hold of a tradesperson of some description to do it for me. Thursday probably wouldn't be a good day what with the number of people coming around at the same time, but if you want to put your money where your mouth is, the weekend might be a good time. I'd like to know how you're going to get the base out. :D

I know nothing about building, but can't understand why old houses always have concrete floors on the ground floor (like my old place which never suffered from damp incidentally) and why most newer builds have suspended floors on the ground floor.

As said earlier in this thread,he very closely resembles someone recently banned elsewhere, for exactly similar behaviour, and who also hails from the same country, and has the same kit list.

It doesnt really matter which "other place",as ROF knows very well where it was.

It was mentioned only to put the perspective of his posts into context.
