Indeed they are the most dynamic amps I have ever heard. I am waiting for the more dynamic alternative to be revealed as a tube amp or something ;-)

Define dynamics for me please. Micro? Macro? Perceived? Or are you just talking about the sheer clout huge muscle amps provide? What about the micro dynamics of say a plucked harp and it's harmonic structure?

nah just curious as it is usually held to be their strong point.

merlin - all of those with a big cherry on top. bryston are more than a muscle amp. without added lush harmonics ;-)

Certainly! Which ones do you have ready for me? Did you see my reply on wigwam. Have you made any progress on the psu demo yet? I am impatient - and quite genuine.

When will you be ready to demo for me?

I am no trouble at all captain Wm - you will find I am an extremely peroniable sort of chap if a bit brisk and demanding. My standards are high!

Tony. Ask for an opinion at Walrus first. Quite enlightening

As soon as bub joel and daryl join in then we will have the full mafia quorum..

You see markus? you have got me doing it here now as well. I wouldnt want to give people the wrong idea.

So what would you imagine the boys would have to say about you then?

What of their opinions on PMC speakers and the reasons for not stocking them?

lol I can imagine - poor les starts quivering whenever I turn up. He has to have a smoke.

Walrus stock speciality items - wisely so. Vinyl valves and horns. PMC dont really fit. Literally.

why do you go in to Walrus bbv? Wouldnt you be better off sticking with a dealer that has studio type brands like pmc and bryston?

    oh crumbs... another one ;)

I dont really fit that mould BN. I like pmc / bryston as they give the best overall sound over a wide range of music for amps and speakers - in my opinion of course. Walrus do the same for decks with the brinkmann. I just go for what I like best - I dont aim for a studio sound or a walrus sound if you know what I mean. Which is partly why I am going diy for the electronics. Currently cajoling sloppie to let me at a couple of things he has.

bbv, what have you done to provoke "forum rage" from both the pfm and hifiplush mafiosas? LOL

Reminds me of these lyrics from the late, great Roy Buchanan:

But there were some that doubted
They disbelieved, so they mocked Him
And the stranger He went away
And the said little town that was sad yesterday
    Is a lot sadder today...
