I am actually banned from the Mana web site but having said that, John watson is an honourable man. He may not be the worlds best businessman but he is truthful and honest. I have known him off and on for over 10 years.

I am sure you will get your rack eventually, so do not go prematurely selling off your existing kit.

If you have a difference with John, give him a call, he responds well to face to face chats.

Johns worst problem is his choice of friends like the two pillocks that are hogging his website and just making it a laughing stock. His real friends have left but that is a another story.

Give John a call, I am sure that you will be ok, he is a bit hot tempered but is basically honest and he will not con you.

    Regards

    Mick

The mission of MANA is to provide a nurturing forum for support

It looks gorgeous but £5k is a tad steep.

And don't let me anywhere near unipivots!

I think £5K is pretty fair, considering the tonearm, prefix etc.

JW has an excellent record collection. Just as well I can't afford it since I don't think he'd sell it to me.

Just a little point guys. We've been considering this for a while and what it boils down to is I'm a little concerned about the fact that JW has had no right of reply to this thread. Please if you have substantiated allegations that is all well and good, but I'm very concious that JW may not even know this thread has happened, and his company may be the subject of unfounded allegations. If anyone has an email for JW they could PM me I'll contact him and offer him the opportunity to reply. Until we've made contact could we please not discuss the problems here. There are proper channels to seek redress through if you have had problems with companies. If discussion continues re. alleged financial problems at Mana this thread will have to be closed.

JW reads all the forums, but always claims not to.

I think there is a contact mail on the Mana website.

My problem is I have emailed, posted, PM'd and made two dozen phone calls without an answer. I had hoped if JW or one of his friends on his forum where to read of my plight there might be a response. I am making no accusations of financial irregularity with Mana it is just he has my £1,000 and my stand at his place and I would like one of them at my place (preferably the stand!).

Heuer can you please pursue this elsewhere, I suggest you consider the small claims court. I feel for you, I wouldn't want £1000 of my money astray, but this is not the forum on which to vent your anger. If Mana fails to provide the goods which you have paid for, you will have to use consumer law to seek redress.
