12:30 next Saturday is good for me. Just need to work out how to get there now (don't drive so will need to involve some form of mass transportation....)

Ooh, and Bub - can you bring along some of your favourite Mozart stuff so you can show me what the big man's all about? I've discovered a few gems of his since my lack of Mozart experience was last mentioned, but I'd still like to know what you like about his music.

Yep 12.30 sounds good to me.

It is a fact that an absolute proof can only exist in mathematics. Everything else is 'beyond reasonable doubt' only, never proved absolutely.

There is tons of evidence that Mana works, but no proof.

Have you guys ever heard of the PM option?

No offence intended but I don't really want to read about your social arrangements - I'd rather see WM's room measurements!

Actually, with the latest version of the forum software you can send PMs to more than one recipient.

    Tonight's your lucky night Neil!

I sent the measurements to Julian but he appears to have gone a.w.o.l. No doubt pitched a tent in the living room and tuned into Radio 6!

    Thanks a million Julian.

Now maybe bub understands what WM means about bass! My old plot also shows the opposite problem that led me to Tact - note the 20db suckout in the midbass.

Looks like that one was measured in the boot of a drug dealers BMW!

Why do Merlins subs seem to want to play in the mid-band? Surely a sub should shut the hell up above 40Hz or so.

    tony,
merlin was using them in a uniquely shaped room. they did actually produce bass at low frequencies just not in his flat.... more in the next door neighbors. i'm not kidding.
    cheers
