Okay I am going to be cheeky and ask 'what is this thread about?'

I could not be bothered to read it at 7 pages long and I am not reading it all now, but if someone could just give me the jist of it maybe I can join in? :D

There was a thread on www.sgheadphones.com called the never ending thread which was pretty long.. that site seems to have gone off the air for the last month though so maybe it doesn't matter.

Anyone heard the Naim Intro 2's there's a really nice looking pair of those kicking around somewhere. Shall not even hint where in case there are any more lurkers about

warning,deliberately provocative post.............

in a recent interview (this months HIFI Choice quoted from it),Roy Gandy, founder of Rega, was asked why his company hs yet to embrace AV,his reply

"the AV market has nothing to do with producing high-quality sound or anything whatsoever to do with music"

I've heard a few Naim speakers (Allaes, SBLs, and, I think, Intros). They're pants, is my considered viewpoint. I don't think Naim's sharpest minds work in their speaker department.

I wonder how Rega is doing this days...

This guy must live in a cave... :p

yes,but a 2 channel cave all the same:)

they have just launched 2 new TTs,so they are doing ok and in the process sticking 2 fingers up at AV

Rega seem to be going from strength to strength. Their turntables, amps, cd's, tuners and speakers seem to be becoming increasingly popular. I'm guessing the only reason they're bothering with the multichannel market is so that people aren't put off their stuff because they can't get a matching AV processer/amp

So do they arrive tomorrow then the Meadowlarks. I'm deeply envious. You're very lucky I didn't think of exdem.com I might have beaten you to them ;) If they do arrive and you should find you don't like them can I have first refusal :D
