    New members and their equipment

    :p

This is one of those "you show me yours, I'll show you mine" moments when I'd rather look at most of yours.

    Project 1 Expression turntable
    Cambridge Audio A5 amp
Cambridge Audio phono stage (hopefully soon to be extinct and replaced)
    Cambridge Audio Azur 640C v2
    Cambridge Audio DAB 500
Wharfedale Diamond 9.1 connected with QED biwire Mk2
    Attacam Nexus speaker stands
    VDH The source interconnect
The Missing Link (Coppermine) interconnects - Next purchase will be an Alacqueia from the same company.

Listen to a variety of music, particularly Indie. Also enjoy a little classical, dance, pop and one or two bits of jazz(knowledge of it is limited though).

Only bought my turntable second hand in March, and have really enjoyed it. According to the shop it came from, one careful famous previous owner.

    Updated as of today...

    The Gromit music centre:

    NAS Spacedeck/Heavy Kit/Spacearm/Denon DL103R
    Naim CDI
    Exposure XI pre/IXPMS/IV Dual-Reg
    Linn Kans (Mk1)

QS rack - top bolts left loose ;)
Deltec Slink between CDI & amp
Power Chord mains cable for CD player
    Exposure speaker cable

The improvement the IX/XI has given over my old 2xVI/VII is staggering to say the least.

Nice. Mine were picked up from me today.

Do you have a more zoomed out picture to see the rest of the room and kit?

I'll post another pic when my room is tidy. It's full of stuff, with a model aeroplane half built on a coffee table, mountain bike and work gear at the mo.

Anyhow I also need to store a picture somewhere else so I can post an image slightly larger than a 100k stamp!? I may edit the image above at some point in the near future. Tip's appreciated :)

    Cheers :)

The boxes on the shelf are, from the top down - the XI pre-amp, IV Dual-reg power and then (my pride & joy) the IX Power supply.

I got the IVDR off eBay about 18 months ago along with a pair of VI psu's and a VII pre-amp. The whole lot was a worthwhile upgrade on my beloved Super XV integrated, but it was mainly the IVDR that I was after as I'll (hopefully) never need another power amp again.

One of the guys on PFM was selling his XI pre and IX supply so I snapped them up. They're in nigh-on mint condition - and the improvement they've given to the sound is staggering to put it mildly. He's also got a couple of IV's kicking around (I think one of them is a dual-reg) so PM me if you want any details.

Bottom line is I just love this old Exposure gear - and for the money it's fabulous value. However, now that Exposure will service it means the value of this stuff could soon start to harden somewhat.

All I need now is a XIV pre-amp and my happiness will be complete :D

And perhaps a pair of XVI mono's aswell.... ;)

Yup - no worries, we made sure the door is very un-openable from the other side. :D

I'll fight you for it !

    I to am looking for a 14/9 and 16's ideally 4

I have been searching for years, although I had a 14/9 on demo from Noteworthy Audio, but it seem faulty. After numerous trials of fault finding I returned it as they had someone else in terested (surprise), then I found out it was the earth in my tone arm, I was furious !

As you say, the older John Farlowe Exposure equipment, is outstanding.
