You are correct, my post was bollox. I've edited it. I was thinking of corner Chatsworths. Let me try and find a picture/drawing.

I'm so sad, I've actually bid on a period Tannoy brochure before, but didn't win it thank God; the missus would have either killed me or subjected my to the public humiliation that I would doubtless have deserved.

Tannerd? Tannorak? It's not healthy whatever you call it.

You are a very, very bad man, tempting me like that.

Getting on so well with the 10"s that I've now landed a nice pair of LGMs with 12" drivers.

Guy is delivering them on Saturday so I'll report in on arrival.

£475 the pair for the speakers.

Seller is driving up from Bristol next weekend and kindly offered to deliver which is a godsend and saves a lot of hassle.

Clean unmarked cabs and minty drivers apparently so me very excited :D

I found some pics and they look superb. I like the adjustment of baffle step and high treble :)

While I am excited for you Rob, I think you need a bigger house!

Yes, big gold pins that you plug in the front - a bit like those old telephone exchanges :)

    Or a Sale.

    .... are they really 25kg? .... didn't realise.

    :D

Excellent. I look forward to hearing about this, and how they compare to the 10".
25kgs is a good weight for a largish speaker.

I've just spotted these on sale for around 4k UKP in Nagoya.

RHR Specials, apparently. Available from Sound Julia

Well done Rob! You couldn't resist keeping up with us 12" and 15" size queens!

I am sure they will be excellent. When you get them set up I really must come over to listen.

I really must organise a nerdfest at mine too.

    :grrr:.where?, how?, when? :grrr:

For that price I'd have bought them even at the risk of upsetting the boss. Not that I need another pair of speakers, but why is that important? :D.
