Semi permanently retired due to ill health so as little as possible. Prior to that Electronic Data/Records Manager cum IT help desk cum Ideas Maestro. Oh and I spent a bit of time helping out in a hi-fi shop.

I suspect so. Third time lucky - you're in the next county, misappropriating Uncle Nikola's name ( ;) ), and have a gradient designer I used to work with who hails from significantly further north! If that's wrong, I give up!

Research scientist for major electronics company to pay the bills and part time reviewer for HiFi plush.

Got into HiFi as I wanted heavy black boxes with big meters, then found out that most serious stuff doesn't have flash meters ... ho hum.

    Cheers

Partner in a small law firm.

Got into hi-fi at around age 15 and have never managed to cure myself of the bug. Used to write for a German mag. Very occasionally still write for Stereophile.

GrahamN, you're on the money! Am I right to think you were there with MMS? I didn't hear too much about what happened after. Hope you're keeping busy!

Not at all well, I'm sorry to say, only met him a couple of times. He seems a real nice guy.

I only ever did one review for Stereophile, on the Naim Aro; 1993 - it's astonishing how time flies. It's in the Archive section.

But I did write a way too long and highly questionable article later called God is in the Nuances which was better received than I thought.
