true - you'd need a bigger motor... :D
When it comes to essex girls and motors, i.e Ford Cortina's with pink arials I always have fun in the back of their car not mine, it saves a fortune on shock absorbers .
Define normal I would love to see you try . Anyway tonight forget brake bipes I am too drunk to drive for a at least a day, but lest just eay it was a very easy ride tonight . * *In my imagine I should be so lucky.
Gary, that I am a shade unusual is no news to me whatsoever. As At has just said though, please can yoiu define "normal"? I said it makes me FEEL normal btw....thats all....... edit. "David, you have categorically proved on this thread that you are not normal." I trust thats what you meant??
David, advanced drivers, if the requirement be that they should not have the radio on incase it distracts them, are by definition not normal, they sit outside of the norm. I am willing to bet 99.9999% if cars on the road today have a radio in them and that 99.99999% of the people driving them use them. As 99.99999% of people on the road do not land up in an accident I feel that not having the radio on 'just in case' is abnormal.
Gari I disagree with you. Many many cars I go in the driver does not have the radio on. One of my friend does and she is not the best driver in the world. Research has prooved that the radio CAN be distracting. Some drivers may prefer it is, it is a matter of preference.
Research has shown that talking can be distracting, apart from talking to yourself about what might be round the bend, would you suggest that passengers never speak? Also my son has an annoying habit of not being silent, should I drug him before driving? Its super, super sad AT, admit it, go on.
According to What Car, there were 26,208,000 cars in the UK in 2006. I take your bet that no more than 26.2 of them have no radio
Yep but just because its there it dosn't mean you have to use it. I am not against radios buit I do think in busy town centres they are a distraction. The motorway is a different matter as there is far less hazzards.
Gary we have established that you like to have the radio on...I prefer to leave the radio off. End of? (AT I agree with you here "Research has prooved that the radio CAN be distracting. Some drivers may prefer it is, it is a matter of preference".....sensible statement))
