Still assessing, moving them around a bit.
Treble is clean, at first sounding maybe less, but i think its the addition of the low end that has maybe balanced it in a way im not use to.
Mid range is very nice, tbh sounding, tonally, similar to the dyns but with more presence to the music.
Had a problem with bass being slow and out of sync. Moved them another 12inch ish from the back wall and it is coming together.
I'll play for the weekend with positioning and some spikes. Hopefully will get better, and there not run in yet.

Pininfarina did the real Daytona ;) It's a Monteverdi, a Swiss made sports car. Can't remember the model name.

Why make such a nice car in a country with such draconian car laws?

Indeed it is a Monteverdi - you'd never think it was Swiss - it looks so Italian - love the back 3/4qtrs and the low slung doors.

So you've guessed the name but what's the model?

Matt, with your Avatar of 'the pink panther' I cant help but think it looks like the pink panther car from the beginning of the cartoon (where a small child puts on a crash helmet and gets into a car that looks like that!)

    :D

It is indeed a Monteverdi Hai 450 and it's not hideous - remember this was 1970 when people were driving around in Vauxhall Viva's and Austin Maxi's.

In fact the 2nd and 3rd pictures down on this link show it in a better light: http://www.tobiasullrich.de/monteverdi/cars/hai1/

And what about the performance - mind blowing at the time - and still now - 450bhp, 60 in 4.7, 100 in 12!

    Matt.

Altogether now in our best Freddie Mercury voices....

I really like the idea of being able to do all my posting in one thread. It keeps it tidy, like a conversation. Just like being down the pub
