Some of them do look cool. Harleys that is.

I thought that was the idea with a Harley though, cruising about looking cool, not performance, surely?

A lifestyle choice ?

So many similarities with those gayist of speakers and AV setup :D

And not for cornering, or braking or accelration
infact, a hardley cant do anything that a REAL bike can.

I know you dont like to use your grey matter to think much, you rather live hand in hand in the flock, reveering common places and the popular gurus... :kneel:

But here go some facts anyway:

The Harley will start faster than the average street rocket, after about 80 meters the Jap will pass never to be caught again by the iron horse, except those that are not able to turn when they should... :p

When you accelerate out of a tight turn they will tend to lift the front wheel, also the rear wheel when they brake hard, so, on a twisty road, the racers will rarely have a good road grip, particularly with average users, like you or me, thats why there are several accidents every sunday on the road I mention, never with HD, except this friend of mine that was hit by a Suzuki that lost it comming from the opposite direction...

So a reasonably prepared Harley, I mean custom shocks, brakes and the usual engine tweaks, will outrun all but the best drivers on Japanese rice burners, in very twisty roads, of course it wont happen on fast highways... :MILD:

Antonio,
that is complete BS, im sure you know it.
Go and re-read and try to understand my posts, i have riden a few hardleys, they are shit.
And if you lift the front wheel all the time, or the rear, you dont know how to ride properly.
Your the one following the flock, flock of old guys trying to be cool when really they should give up and stay in with some nice comfy slippers and a soap opera.
You last paragraph just shows how completly deluded and incorrect you are.
Obviously you niether know how to ride properly or much about bikes.

I thought we where past that after the inquisition, every thing you dont have call it gay...

I am sure thats what you will be doing when you have my age, if you get there at all... :JPS:

You know there's nothing I'd want less than a motorbike, I'm sure they're great fun, but I have no desire to own one. But having seen the bikers round where I am I know which would be the fastest, some overweight American machine designed in about 1940 whose primary market is middle-aged men having their mid-life crises, or a race designed Japanese bike that can rev up to 14,000rpm, yes I'm sure your bike was great fun, and yes I'm sure that your AV system sounds great, but you don't half go for some indefensible points of view.
Now had you said your hi-fi sounded great for an AV set up, and your bike was a design classic who would have disagreed with you?
It's all a matter of proportion my friend

Sure it is, if you read and try to understand what I am saying, English is only my second language, but I can always try to explain better if you ask, instead of jumping to conclusions...

My hi-fi sounds great for an hi-fi, beeing AV is just added value that you might or not appretiate, ok...

Try to outrun a trial bike in the woods with any street racer, see what I mean, again, if you read my explanations... :JPS:

Tone
Shush!

Antonio
WTF has a trial bike in woods got to do with an antiquated bag of shit, sorry, i mean harley

You change your argument whenever your loosing, a sign of insecurity
