    Getting off track here.

Let's get back to the 'my deck (that I haven't even bought yet) is better than your deck' argument, please.

It's 'your deck (that you haven't even bought yet) is worse than my deck'.

It's actually 'your deck (that you haven't even bought yet) is worse than my deck' versus 'my deck (that I haven't even bought yet) is apparantly better than your deck, according to somebody else'.

It's interesting to see how far people will go to defend their prized possessions. As if anyone in their right mind would be disappointed with either, heated bearing notwithstanding.

    Let's move on then.

Devil, tell us about some other purchases you may be planning so we can 'put you right'.

Just buy the La Ponce and have done with it. You can be sure then you've bought the worst possible thing!

No I think the heater would be the best bit. I might get one the room I listen in gets a bit chilly sometimes and it could make all the difference. Does anyone actually own one?

A room or a heater? I've got both, makes it a lot easier than keeping the system outside...

God, why did I post sh*t like that, probably that this damned thread is now up to 337 from an original question from BBV that Bub probably took as baiting. Shock horror, the thread was never destined to build positively on trust.

Markus' post on art was rather good though - although I tend to think good art knows when to stop the brushstrokes, looks a bit more like roadkill to me.

Bub, presumably you're going to change phono and pre or try toobs next, do tell to fuel the next 300-odd posts.

Bub you already achieved that when you bought the Mana - you can't possibly get any worse than that.

Except possible PMC, Bryston and the Lawotsit....

To return to the off-topic, I disagree, although the idea that 5% distortion might be 'modest' is somewhat amusing.

You can all mock but when you finally hear "the laponce" you will all be looking pretty sheepish I can tell you. Well more sheepish then you are currently. :p The BLG heater produces far less heat than any of those silly "toobs".
