ATC studio monitors

James,

We vend cables, amplifiers (our own and others), Digital electronics, Modifications (CDP/amps/pre's Speakers), and a/v section. Plus an install service& system diagnosis. I do appologise for the confusion James. :)

I did wonder what it was that you did.

So, if you had managed to, er, "vend" me some cables, would you be taking every opportunity to kick every single item of hi-fi equipment I own?

Just curious.

Thanks Paul.

No measurements, alas.

Ive got to admit, I dont understand why published statistics are hard to come by for this brand of speaker.

It makes no sense to me at all, given that many of the customers they are looking for are studio engineers - to whom plotted and graphed figures will be important when they are choosing studio monitors.

Its kinda funny that we'll debate the subject over 17 pages of forum squabbles, but no-one's done that! haha.

I'd feel like an idiot asking them myself as a) the figures dont mean anything to me anyway b) Ive no interest in buying their speakers so would be wasting their time

There is no such thing as "flat Earth", it's all marketing nonsense got up by the 1980s hi-fi press.

If you are implying that ATCs don't "image", I think you are wrong.

That word "Think", makes that your opinion, to which you are entitled, others disagree. It's all subjective really, just like Mr Kennedy's review.

The fact is I wasn't implying anything, other than JK reviews favourably, kit which has been labeled "Flat Earth" ie offers a particular type of presentation.

And of course his system at home was Avatar OBX/Border Patrol based. Hardly classic flattie gear is it?
