Anyone remember Blackfoot Sue, brummy band from the early 70's
Saw them quite a few times round the club circuit back then.

Been feeling all nostalgic and looked for best of album on ebay.
Last 2 went for £15-£16 on ebay. Rec'd my copy from German Ebay today for £5. Sounds even better with the saving. If anyone does remember them this cd is well worth while:JPS:
Bri.

Just been sent a cd by a m8... I don't think it's been released commercially but the band are currently playing a bit in London..
They're called "Kerb Drill", and it's the most amazing jazzy noise thing I've heard this side of a Henry Threadgill or "Base Lines" era Bill Laswell.
Highly recommended for fans of interesting music...

Kyuss - Blues for a red sun (occasionally good but often droney and uninteresting stoner rock)

Thats cuz you bought the wrong one, Sky Valley is MILES better than Blues... I'm bored of BFRS by track 3, other than the needlessly long acoustic track Sky Valley is good start to finish.

Black Eyes: S/T
Slayer: 1988-1990 complilation I did for the car
then susumu yokota: Sakura to cool off

It's Gershwin For Trumpet - Juraj Bartos, Trumpet - Peter Breiner, Piano. Borrowed it today from the library and playing it for the first time. First impressions - I shall play this again a few times before I return it -

Rhythm of the Saints. What a brilliant album. I think its in my top 5 probably.

I've been listening to A Reggae Tribute to the Beatles which I picked up in Tesco for a couple of quid!

Paul Simon - The Rhythm of the Saints

Never could quite get into this album. My favourite albums by Paul Simon are played most weeks they are

Paul Simon (Self titled) - great accoustic guitar work
There goes Rhyming Simon - Excellent - every track a gem
One Trick Poney - Late in The Evening is the track I use as a test track when I change anything on my HiFi

Today I played all three albums plus - the moving album - Still Crazy After All These Years ( a dreamy time for bed album)

Curly Dub MmmmmMmMm

Super Ape, Lea Perry and the Upsetters, Side 1, Last Track.

The Funkiest thing to ever come out of Jamaica. & Why Scratch is a Genius :MILD:

(Excuse my whatever its called for "overuse of Capitals")

JUst put Eva Cassidy's Live at the Blues Club on. A wonderful live CD. Great percussion and guitar solos. I especially like her version of Autumn Leaves, Stormy Monday and Bridge Over Troubled waters a great listen. Nice cuddle up to the wife music, always gets me a cup of tea!
